DESCRIPTION

The Northridge™ E Series E150P powered subwoofer is just the ticket to bring your home theatre system to life.

The E150P performs like a pro, with technology developed by JBL’s Professional division. Equipped with JBL's tried-and-true PolyPlas™ woofer, this subwoofer delivers the low-frequency goods. Special effects in your favourite movies, assisted by the FreeFlow™ flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. An efficient digital amplifier backs up the 10-inch woofer with high output. Sturdy gold-plated, 5-way binding posts provide a strong connection that preserves all of the nuances of the original program. Convenient level and crossover-frequency controls and a phase switch let you tailor the E150P's performance to your room acoustics or taste. The computer-designed, lock-mitred cabinet virtually eliminates distortion, and its slim, front-firing, European profile won’t overpower your room.

Swedish Mag Picks Harman Kardon AVR 255 As The Winner!

Six new AVRs were tested in a recent issue of HemmaBio (HomeTheatre) magazine in Sweden.  The Harman Kardon AVR 255 was named as the overall winner against Onkyo TX-SR606, Pioneer VSX-918V, Sony STR-DG820, Tangent AVR-100 and Yamaha RX-V663.

“HKs new design looks truly fresh, and the total build quality feels good.  Lots of handy adjustments which you only have to do once, and then you turn on the amplifier and it will do its job without any problems. On top of this, the menus are the toughest I have experienced for a long time: You will not get bored when you have to make any adjustments!

Sound wise the AVR 255 is maximum scoring for the money, with a satisfying sound regardless if it comes from a fine classical recording, an action packed Blu-ray or from Ramstein Live. The sound stage is large, well defined and the auto calibration works constantly without any problems.”

Conclusion:
HK is the winner of this test report thanks to its best sound quality and with its separate picture adjustments for each of the HDMI inputs as an extra plus.”
